Michael DeSaye
Co-Founder & CEO

Mike is a well-rounded and seasoned logistics executive with a comprehensive background in the industry, spanning over three decades. His journey began in 1985 when he started working in the family businesses—FMI International, FMI Trucking, and FMI Express—alongside his mother, father, and two brothers. Through hard work and dedication, they rapidly expanded the companies.
In 2003, Mike and his family made a significant move by selling 70% of the businesses to the private equity group KRG Capital. This strategic decision enabled further growth, and in November 2006, KRG and FMI sold the business to Summit Logistics International. Despite challenges, including Summit filing for Chapter 11 two years later, FMI saw an opportunity and successfully acquired the company out of bankruptcy. Under Mike’s leadership, the company was rebuilt and strengthened, eventually leading to its sale to Toll in 2010.
Mike remained at Toll as the EVP of Sales and Marketing for eight years, playing a key role in its operations. With the backing of private equity and Taylored Services, he helped buy the company back. After Taylored acquired it, he continued as VP of Sales for three years, helping facilitate its sale to Yusen Logistics, where he remained as VP of Sales for a year and a half.
Today, Mike is the CEO of an innovative technology and transportation company. His focus is on leveraging cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the logistics and transportation sectors, aiming to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and provide unparalleled service to clients.
