David Chameli

David Chameli, a Buffalo NY native and long-time Buffalo Bills fan, is an executive-level attorney with over 35 years of experience in the logistics/supply-chain, environmental, and retail industries.

David was most recently with Crystal Clean, an environmental logistics company, as its EVP, General Counsel and Real Estate Operations. While at Crystal Clean, David was responsible for the litigation and contracts portfolio, real estate properties, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. He successfully led the executive team through a $1.2 billion private equity buyout in 2023, oversaw the relocation of corporate headquarters in 2022, and managed the resolution of high-stakes environmental enforcement actions in 2019. Prior to that, David was General Counsel Worldwide Moving Operations and Chief Compliance Officer at SIRVA, Inc., a global relocation company, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the company through its IPO process and expanding its global footprint. David also spent over 11 years with Sears Holding Corporation (SHC), parent company of Sears, Roebuck and Kmart. At SHC, David served as Lead Counsel for SHC's $3 billion logistics subsidiary. David currently runs a fractional general counsel law practice with a focus on logistics companies and start-ups.

David is licensed to practice law in New York, Minnesota, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. David is a frequent public speaker on legal operations and supply chain issues. When he's not devoting his time to the practice of law, he enjoys spending time with his two adult children and joining his wife Kathy in doting over their two granddaughters in North Carolina. David is also an avid comic book collector, seller and historian, with a collection of books that is slowly taking over his basement, much to Kathy's chagrin.
